Running a Custom Task UI locally in Business Application Studio

Hi Workflow community,

I've created a workflow application in Business App Studio with a custom User Task UI and managed app router, deployed to Cloud Foundry as described in the SAP help documentation.

The application is working as expected when I open it through the My Inbox app.

I'm now trying to run it locally in BAS by binding it to the workflow service through the run configuration (so that I don't have to build and deploy it each time I want to test a change) without much luck.

I also took some pointer from this post by DJ Adams.

In the network trace it's failing to get the task instance.

Has anyone been able to run a custom Task UI locally while using a managed app router?

Any advice would be much appreciated.
