We have created a sales order item with item category CBTA (MTO)
However if we go to the customer requirements list the item is not assigned to a Customer Stock segment
Note that it has worked before.
What is overruling the item category on sales order item ?
What am I missing ?

Hi Bernhard,
In your case it might rather be the Requirement Type that drives customer stock. So as a first step you might want to check the Requirement Type assigned to the line item of the Sales Order (Tab Procurement) and whether or not this is MTO related. The Requirement Type itself is determined in a standard set up by the Strategy Group of the Product Master. However this can be influenced by the SSCUI “Determine Requirement Type by Item Category and MRP Type”. You can also check the Documentation of the SSCUI for more information.
