Application Designer - Custom error message

Hello, In the application designer, I have a few links to the different stories but not all the users have access to these stories. Is there a way to handle the 404 error via custom script instead of 404 Sorry, we can't find this file?

Do you know if there is a way to hide the popup bar when the application is viewed?

There is a bar that pops up on the top to pin, refresh, for users.

I figured this can be accomplished by setting mode=embed in the custom link of the story.
