S/4HANA Cloud Attachement API - link posted, but not visible in the system

Dear colleagues,

I am doing posting of Attachment-URL to Journal Entry via API "Attachements" and get successful response in Postman:

But then I do not see the link in the area, where I expect it in the app "Manage Journal Entries":

Could you, please, advise, what could be the reason or should I search for a link anywhere else?

Hi Alexander ,

When using the object key BKPF with the Attachment API , the LinkedSAPObjectKey has to be in the format as mentioned in the KBA https://launchpad.support.sap.com/#/notes/3069604

The LinkedSAPObjectKey shows 10011000000552021

im guessing 1001 is the Company Code

100000055 is the Journal Entry

2021 the year

The Journal Entry 100000055 is only 9 characters long

The document number field has length 10. if your document number length is less than 10, please add leading zero.

Please try with LinkedSAPObjectKey 100101000000552021


If still you get a success response but no attachment is included , check in the apps Manage Documents , Display document app ( https://fioriappslibrary.hana.ondemand.com/sap/fix/externalViewer/#/detail/Apps('CV03N')/S26 ) if you are able to view the document info record linked to the Journal Entry
