We are implementing a new simple VC model which is purely using class 200 in the BOM and just one characteristic in the model that drives the whole process.
We have noticed a couple of issues related to database tables (CAWN and AUSP), though the VC model is a very simple
1) AUSP table allows only 999 entries for an object, we have one material in the model which requires more than 4000 characteristic values
2) Currently we have characteristic values 8000+ but sooner it will go beyond 10000. CAWN table also looks like a limitation of 9999 values
appreciate how to address this database limitation issue any other alternative approaches
Hi Sekhar,
Kind regards,

Thanks for all your response. I have found a work around using variant tables instead of using class 200 in the BOM

Hi Sekhar,
The number of Characteristics added to a 300 class is 999. If the number of Characteristics are more than 999, create the required number of 300 classes and assign the Characteristics.
