Add restriction on Current month/year in BWMT query

Hi All,

I have a column which represents year month (sample value-202109). Now in a query in BWMT in HANA studio, I need to add a restriction on this column for current yearmonth value. I'm unable to do that. What I tried:

Approach 1:

1. Create a SAP Exit variable of reference 0CALMONTH and then assigned it value 0CURMEM_CALMONTH(Image 1) .

2. Then filter tab of query --> right click on the yearmonth field --> Restrict --> chose above variable (Image 2).

But when I run the generated query in RSRT it takes me to some debugging code of ABAP.

Approach 2:

When I try to solve this via creating a calculated key figure then again there are no suggestions on the formula to get the current year and month (Image 3).

Please guide me how can restrict my data to current yearmonth ? I'm making the Query on top a composite provider.
