hi,

>>>Did i miss any configuration?

probably yes

try looking at transaction SXMB_MONI on the system on which you

start the proxy (on the R3, ERP)

to see the error

Thank you Michal,

When i run SXMB_MONI, i have the following error.

<SAP:Code p1="400" p2="ICM_HTTP_CONNECTION_FAILED" p3="" p4="">HTTP.HTTP_CLIENT_RECEIVE_FAILED</SAP:Code>

<SAP:Text language="EN">

Error during http receive: Error code: 400 Error text: ICM_HTTP_CONNECTION_FAILED

</SAP:Text>

1. Tested the connctions in sm59,

2. ICM service is active

3. Exchange profile perms checked.

XI system is pretty new, might be congiguration.

Can you through some light on it?

Thank you

hi,

1. did you set your R3 as application server?

in SXMB_ADM - integration engine config?

2. did you do all the steps for connecting

r3 to XI for proxies?

(from the xi configuration guide) ?

Michal,

1. Yes, I setup role as application system and corresponding Integration server with a valid url.

2. Followed the section 8(<b>Connecting Business Systems with an Integration Engine to the Central Integration Server</b>) of the configuration guide.

Thank you

Also check this blog- /people/vijaya.kumari2/blog/2006/01/26/how-do-you-activate-abap-proxies

Thank you Michale and Moorthy

Problem solved.

1. I had HTTP Connection created .

2. If i use url i am not getting the message to XI.

3. If i use dest:
connection , message is reaching XI

Am i not supposed to use URL?

I don't know why.

Thank you

Ganges Leaves.

hi,

>>>>3. If i use dest:
connection , message is reaching XI

that's what I said

you need to do it <b>EXACTLY</b> as in the XI FAQ:)

(for business systems)

BTW

glad it works

michal
