SAP NCO 3.0 - Shutdown destination

Hello community, this is my first question here.
I'm currently working for a company, and one particular customer is having issues. He's randomly getting the following Exception: Cannot obtain system attributes from shut-down destination.
We are using a .net backend, that uses SAP NCo 3 to make RFC calls.

I'm not really sure what the exception is, but more important, is there a way to reproduce this? I have my own SAP instance that I'm connecting to from this backend, how can I make a destination be shutdown?

Thanks in advance,

Regards.

It is disappointing to see how I couldn't get an answer in this time-window. I've seen people with the same issue in this forum and also not a single response. Not to mention the lack of documentation of the SAP NCO library.
