SAP Story Reports Optional Input Parameters as Filter

Im trying to create a table using Input Parameters to filter the data.

And this input parameter should be optional, when there is no input, the query should select all records.

But Input Parameters on Story Reports does not allow Blank values when it is used as Filter value.

*created input parameter

*setting its value to a field (Name = OPTIONALFILTER)

* on save, it requires a value

my question is, how to apply an optional filter for this story report using an input parameter.

or maybe a suggestion on how to implement optional filter onload.
