Using a single HANA DB technical user for HANA Live Reporting through CRM Web UI

We have a CRM system and we have setup HANA Live Reporting on it. We can create reports and pull the data to display it on the UI no problem. When the user opens a report on the UI for the first time in their browser session, they get a popup prompting for the HANA DB username/password (which is different from his CRM username/password). I'm assuming this is the ODATA connection between the DB and the WebDispatcher.

It says here that the DB user and the CRM user should have the same ID, but when I try it in the UI, I get prompted for a DB username and even if I enter a different user ID/password then my CRM user, it works just fine.

Is there a way to force all CRM users to use the same HANA DB technical user for DB access (read only) and skip this popup entirely?
