Moving SAProuter to new directory causes environment variable mess

We have SAProuter running and it was placed on our server at E:\SAProuter.

Due to server changes we have moved the directory to C:\SAProuter and drive E does not exist anymore.

I've change the SECUDIR and SNC_LIB environment variables to point to C:\SAProuter.

However, when I run sapgenpse get_my_name it tells me that:
get_my_name: Couldn't open PSE "E:\SAPRouter\Common\sec\local.pse"

Sure, the file does not exist there anymore. But my enviroment variables are also not pointing there. We have also restarted the server.

How can I fix this so that it looks at the location of my new local.pse file?
