In a SAP Analytics Cloud environment that has two SAC Entities (Test & Productive). Is it possible in any way to transport Content from a Productive Tenant to a Test Tenant? The content was originally created in the Productive SAC Tenant.
You can transport objects between tenants via two methods: (this include prod to dev as well).
Via content network. As long as both tenant are on same "region" (eg - tenant url have same location tag US10, US01 etc) and both are on same (or +1 ) version.
Deployment method : Import & Export. Region of the tenant doesn't matter in this manual transport process. But you will have version constrain. you are allowed to transport objects between tenant with same version or subsequent version. Say your Prod tenant is on 2021.14 then you are allowed to move objects to Test if version is 2021.14 or 2021.15
So long as the waves are aligned between the two tenants, yes one could create a TGZ export file from Production and import into the Test tenant theoretically.
