we recently configured and connected a BODS system to solution manager for technical monitoring. it appears in system monitoring and changes alert status as expected, but notification email does not get generated. the template settings are at default. notification setup is active at global level, but setting at template or alert level does nothing either. followed instructions below for the setup. checking alert inbox, no alert was generated despite system monitoring showing red alert for unavailability. we have tried changing the alert's severity to 9 but nothing changes.
previously existing system setup are working just fine.
