how to check who and when current material period is opened

for S4 HANA Cloud system , how to check who and when current material period is opened?

thanks for all answers.

but I want to check who closed period ,

for example:sometimes our user will closed Sep month, then later maybe open Sep, then close Sep again.

So I want to see when and who do close or open period.

Would you please help ?

Hi Joanna,

The App where you can see what Material Period is open you should use the App "Close Periods":

Then enter the parameters to run it (make sure you select the option "Check period only" if you're just looking for the current opened period):

And then the log will show you the current opened period for Material Movements (in our internal SAP system for Company Code 1710 the current opened period is 9/2021 in the red box below):

Hi,

If you execute Close periods app in foreground then you can see the log on the output screen.
