I have a scenario where we receive demand of 1000 qty each for X part from two different customers in sales scheduling agreement and send the purchase schedule lines to one vendor for that X part. Now MRP always aggregate the qty of different customer and update my purchase schedule agreement by 2000 qty.

Now this vendor is self packed vendor which means that they pack the part and we receive in same packing and directly sends to our customer. We never unpacked that at our end.

Now Vendor is asking to send the schedule line customer wise so that they can can pack also customer wise because right now he is not able to know which customer asked how much qty.

Please anybody is having any idea how to map this? Does it need any enhancement ?

Appreciate your help in this.

Hi Caetano/ Venky,

I can go with both settings but my end requirement is to send the schedule lines to my supplier with the visibility of customer also in schedule line.

Now I have only one vendor who packs for each customer and sends us and we send it as it is without unpacking. So Supplier wants to know how much qty I need to pack for which customer.

Now because I have only one Purchase agreement and MRP updates it with consolidated schedule line which goes to supplier via EDI message. So if I use ''collective/individual indicator then will MRP generate separate schedule line and also updates the PSA as a separate schedule lines? and how would I make a Sales agreement reference with those separated schedule line?

In simple words, If I want to send schedule lines requirement for each customer via EDI then where and how would I update that info of customer in PSA.?

Hello Deepak,

Could you please maintain the Individual / Collective requirement as 1 in MRP4 view of the purchasing material

then re run the MRP so system will generate the two schedule lines with 1000 quantity

Regards,

Venkatesh..
