How to make disappear standard tabs in ESS

Hi

We installed ESS business package.customer doesn't want some of the standard tabs in Top level navigation bar .for example "Career and Job" ,"puchasing","Work Environment" ,"Travel and Expense" doesn't want to be appear on top level navigation bar.can any body suggest how to do that?or can anybody provide the documentation related to this.

That is quite simple. Those TLN (top level navigation) and SLN (second level navigation) links/titles are defined by the workset or role the correspond too. In your case, you should be able to find the worksets for each and simply change their title (through the PCD found in Content Administration). Easy as that!

i can find the worksets in content administration.but how to make disappear them from TLN or SLN?can u eloborate.please reply

HI Prasad,

go into the Workset and delete the objects.

These objects are only deltalinks, not the objects itself.

So if you decide later, you can add them again.

depending on your BP version, navigate to "Content administration" / "portal content".

Search for ID <b>ess</b> on the "Search" tab and edit the role. there you can delete for exampe the unwanted TLN objects.

Hi Achim

i gave points because ur anuswer is helpful.i went to ess role and selected "carrer and job" properties,then there is property called "Navigation invisible" to Yes.then it is disappeared from Second Level Navigation Bar
