System copy in ECC and APO

We are planning to create a system copy of both ECC and APO to create new systems.

So both the systems will have the data as in current production.

Once I setup the CIF in NEW ECC (logical system names will be different)), will both the systems work fine after that ? Are there chances of any inconsistencies? Will the orders work seamlessly afterwards?
Like can i expect any order processing that happens in one system to go to other system without issues?
Will a new order created in ECC be able to work with existing PDS and other source of supplies?

We have DP,SNP PPDS and GATP in scope.

Hi Sreeram,

you will need to use BDLS transaction (in APO) to convert LOGSYS fields after a system copy, but this step is only one among a Basis team usually does during a system copy.

If you want your orders checked open /SAPAPO/CIFLOOKU table to see LOGSYS.
