SAP Gateway Error Log in S4 Hana Cloud?

Hello SAP community,

We are working on a side-by-side extension and CAP service.

On our CAP service, we would like to include an API call to API_SALES_ORDER_SIMULATION_SRV service.

I'm first doing some test in Postman, but I'm receiving an error message saying 'For backend administrators: use ADT feed reader "SAP Gateway Error Log" or run transaction /IWFND/ERROR_LOG on SAP Gateway hub system and search for entries with the timestamp above for more details'.

Does someone know how to display error log in S4 Hana Cloud since we don't have access to this transaction or to the ADT Feed Reader?

Hi Fabian

If you need to get the error logs from /IWFND/ERROR_LOG, you will have to create a ticket via support and you can request for the logs via the ticket.

Yes, I saw this topic, but it was in 2018... Do you know why SAP doesn't want to provide an access to this transaction for S4HC systems?

Hi Fabien,

You can access oData error logs under the group Message Monitoring via the tile 'Message Monitoring OData Error Log'. Please make sure that you are in SAP S/4HANA Cloud 2108 Hotfix 06 or later.
