Sales BOM ATP at different plant level - is this possible enhancement??

Hi All,

I have a situation. My client using a 3rd party tool for ATP integrated with SAP SD.

3rd party ATP tool is pulling confirmation via different plants and materials for a ordered material via Customized ATP screen. No pricing. ONLY ATP.

Example – Customer orders Material A, Qty – 100, Plant – X

ATP via 3rd party tool and confirmation happens as below -

1. Material A, Qty – 70, Confirmed – 70 , Plant – Y

2. Material B (Substitution material), Qty – 5, Confirmed – 5 , Plant – Z

3. Material A, Qty – 25, Confirmed – 20 , Plant – X

How this can be achieved via SAP Sales BOM???

Do you always want the materials to be determined from different plants.

Not always. If not available in one plant then from another plant.

Since you use third party tool for ATP which is expected to function for all sort of scenarios be it an individual material or BOM, obviously, it should cater for Sales BOM also
