Analysis for Office - Scheduling error - System received an expired SSO ticket (BIP Add-On 2.3)

Hello Gurus,

We are currently facing an issue regarding scheduling of AFO reports.

Here are our versions :

  • BO Platform 4.1 SP6 Patch 5 (installed on windows 64bits)
  • BIP Add-On 2.3 SP3
  • .NET versions (2.0, 3.0, 4.0)

When scheduling a report on the platform, instance goes running and stops always around 400 seconds.

We activated traces and are facing the following message :

...|DEBUG|Trace.Cof|SAP.Middleware.Connector.RfcDestination.UpdateSSO2Ticket|1|TicketUpate returned null. Leaving ticket propertey untouched for...

...|ERROR|Trace.AoPlugin|?.?|1|System received an expired SSO ticket@ at SAP.Middleware.Connector.RfcConnection.ConnectAsClient(RfcDestination destination, Boolean forRepository)

...Finished. Return code: 30


Did somebody ever face this issue ? Could this be related to .Net ? (we don't have .NET 3.5 installed for example)

Workbook is working fine when we open it, our sso connection looks ok also.

We already went through notes (ex : 0002065332) and found nothing relative to BIP Add-On 2.3.

    Hi,

    Did you tried the session timeout Parameters just like in below KB.

    Try to insert the parameter "session.timeout" to dsws.properties in "X:\SAP BusinessObjects\tomcat\webapps\dswsbobje\WEB-INF\classes"? It is described in SAP NOTE: 1917624 - How to increase session timeout for Web Service in BI 4.0 or BI 4.1

    or try at the tomcat_home/conf/web.xml

    Thanks Jothi,

    I will forward the idea to my basis team. But I was more waiting for something related to pure AFO scheduling and connection methods.

    Also opened a ticket at sap but if somebody already experienced this... don't hesitate to help.

    We also went through the note 2134836 and tried to check everything (sso, .net versions...).
