Hi,

Does On premise Single-Sign On Server 3.0 support OpenID and SAML?

According to this document it doesn't. However according to this document it does?

Also we intend to integrate Single-Sign On Server with a .NET web application, where can I find the documentation to do this?

Hello Andrew,

the SAP Secure Login Server (SLS) 3.0 is operated on the SAP NetWeaver AS Java. You can make use of SAML 2.0 Authentication (configuring your NW as a Service Provider) and this way authenticate using a SAML Assertion, to get a short-lived SSO certificate from the SLS in return. OpenID is not supported as far as I am aware. The other component you are referring to is the STS (Security Token Service) which is not to be mixed with the SLS, as those are two separate components. If you outline your required scenario with more details you may get better answers 😉

Cheers Colt

Hi Mr Colt,

Thanks a lot for the explanation, do you mean that SAP Single Sign-On Server 3.0 has 2 different components the SLS (Secure Login Service) and STS (Secure Token Service)?

Required scenario is to use SAP Single Sign-On server as both SLS and STS to a collection of web applications.
