Hello together,
two users cant login into bi launchpad (SAP BO 4.0 SP2) but all other users can.
Error Message:
Account Information Not Recognized: Active Directory Authentication failed to
log you on. Please contact your system administrator to make sure you are a
member of a valid mapped group and try again. If you are not a member of the
default domain, enter your user name as UserName@DNS_DomainName, and then try
again. (FWM 00006)
Any ideas what the problem is?
There are a couple of possibilities here...
1. The two users aren't members of the Active Directory user group that allows access to your system. In this case, they need to be added to the group.
2. The two users are members of the group, but they don't show up as Users in the BI Platform. In this case, they haven't been imported from AD into your system yet. In the CMC, go to "Authentication" and "Windows Active Directory" (or it may be "WinAD" - I don't have access to a system right now to check...). Scroll down toward the bottom of the page and check to see how updates are configured - are they done on a schedule or when a user first logs in to the system? If they're on a schedule, you'll need to either see when the schedule runs next or you can select something like "Import aliases and groups" and click on the Update button. Once that completes, the users should appear in the Users list in the CMC.

Are the users disabled in BOBJ? Is this through SSO or the login page?
Are they in the same group as others who can log in to BI Launchpad? If you look at the User Rights for BI Launchpad in Applications in the CMC, has anything been done to remove their access?
Finally, are they remote users or are they on the local network? If they're remote, are they on VPN to the network?
