Number range for Inventory Documents in WMS

Hello dear Gurus,

There is a problem with number range in WMS module. I have defined a number range like 400000 - 499999 for inventory documents in all warehouses in the plant. I thought document numbers will follow each other no matter in which warehouse they are, however, now it appears that each warehouse independently generates the numbers. For example, inventory doc number 400002 exists in 2 warehouses simultaneously.

I am wondering whether there is a way to connect the number ranges throughout the warehouses, so the doc numbers will not repeat. Or should I just simply define different range for each warehouse?

The /SCWM/PIDO number range object in question is Warehouse number dependent, so I don't think there's a way to link them up. Normally, you have to define seperate, not overlapping number ranges

Thanks for your help. As the client requires a unique number range through its warehouses, I tried to find a way to link them up. If no way is found out, I will do as you mentioned.
