Error while doing post capitalization of asset

Dear all,

I am trying to do post capitalization of an asset which was acquired in 2020. Currently the closed year against the company code in OAAQ is 2019. When I give posting date as of current date (09-08-2021) in ABNAN, there is an error "Fiscal year 2021 is incorrect for post-capitalization of asset xxxx, Message no. AAPO012"

My questions:

1. Is posting date only allowed in the following year from closed year. Like in this case since closed year is 2019 in OAAQ, is it only possible to post in 2020 and not in 2021?

2. But currently FY 2020 is closed in system (OB52) and it is only possible to post in 2021, how can I solve the error and do the posting?

3. Since the asset is acquired in 2020 but asset closing year is 2019 (OAAQ), is it correct to pass value date in 2019 to run the transaction?
