We are on S/4 HANA Cloud and using the old billing solution. In release billing proposal app, the View Written Off button did not show the "comprehensive list" of written off items as per mentioned in the help guide. Users are confused of what is this button for. When clicked, the message says "There are no written-off items available for this billing proposal."
The problem is on the last billing plan item for a project. Once the last billing proposal is released, there is no way to check if there are any written off items. The workaround of having to create another billing plan item just to catch all the written off items is not good enough. Because how would the user knows he has to do that? Is there some kind of report or something that can show all of the written off items?
We have raised this issue to SAP support, but there is no plan to fix the old billing solution. Appreciate any advise on this.
