Formatting and Unformatting Text in SAP

Hello Everyone,

Is there a way to revert text to UNFORMATTED in SAP?

I use SAP to enter orders, and for each order, I need to add an internal note. For some of my customers, there's default text in the Internal Notes area (such as "always ask Bob for the product ID"). In such cases, the text area is often greyed out, which forces me to double-click in the field, Allow or Deny a change to the template, enter the note, and finally Save.

Time is of the essence in my job, so it would be great if I could always type directly in this field, regardless of whether there's already text in there. Anyone know how to do this?
