SAC Story - Export to PDF (BW Live Connection)

Hi All,

I am facing this weird issue off late with export to PDF feature within SAC for stories. I have a SAC story containing 10 tabs based on a BW live connection. I am using 3 models based on BEx queries. When the user tries to export to pdf in 'View' mode of the story, the export gets hanged on 9th Page and nothing happens. However as soon as I go into edit mode and export it, it works fine. Has anyone else faced this issue? It seems very temperamental to be honest.

Hi Tanisha,

It looks like an issue to report to SAP Support and raise a ticket. If the issue continuously repeats I would submit an incident.

Hi Both,

Thank you for the reply. I found the reason for the strange behavior.The table with issue in SAC had the 'Pagination' feature checked. I only had one page in the report and will always have just one in future as well and for some reason that was causing the issue. I removed the checked property and it started to work fine. This is very weird behavior and should not happen like this

Hi Tanisha,

I also recommend opening a support ticket like Tuncay suggested. Recently, another customer reported that if they export the Story based on a BW Live connection twice, it would hang the second time they export.
