Organization Determination bases on the customer sales area in CRM

Hi Team,

I Have a requirement in SAP S4HANA 1909 Customer Management as below.

When i create a service request, the sales areas maintained at customer master data should be determine automatically in the service request or it should a pop up with sales organization + DC + DV and along with Sales office and sales groups assigned in the sales areas.

Please note that the customers will be having multiple sales areas.

Currently it is showing all the sales groups and sales offices which is not even assigned to customer.

am using the org determination rule 10000144.

I think that you reported an incident . Right ? I saw the incident and forwarded to CRM-S4-MD-ORG colleagues because I thought that they could be provide another point of view or a good workaround.

The solution is an enhancement :-). Good to confirm it.

Hi shashikanth89,

this is the way that rule 10000144 works. It looks for all sales organizations linked to customer and shows all units under these sales areas. This means all sales offices/sales groups.

I guess that you expected something like SD with just the sales areas assigned to Sold to Party. I think that there is not any standard way to get it. I'd copy the function module CRM_ORGMAN_ORGOBJECTS_FIND_4 removing the no-assigned sales office/group and I'd create my own rule.

Maybe some other colleague can provide you a better answer. I don't know the standard way to get your requirement.

Thank you for your comments. yes ! the standard rule is showing all the sales offices and groups that were existed in the org model.

The enhancement is the alternate solution.
