Dear experts,
I am currently working with the SAP Subscription Billing and there is a requirement to set-up discounts.
I know that you can add custom amounts as percentage charge on the rate plan and define the ratio with the price per unit.
Once bill is closed, I can see the net amount and the custom amount. Event though the custom amount is not considered in the net amount. I believe I am not doing it in a correct way.
What would be the correct way to define discounts in the SAP Subscription Billing?
Br,
Aleks.
Hi Aleks,
the custom amounts can not be used in Subscription Billing to calculate discounts. This is rather a feature to calculate additional amounts like costs, margin, etc. which do not contribute to the net amount.
Support for discounts is on the near term roadmap.
You can find more information on the roadmap under roadmaps.sap.com
Best regards
Carsten
