BAS Dev Space stuck in 'Starting' state.

Greetings experts:

I started having issues in all of our SAP Mobile Application type Dev Spaces in Business Application Studio. At first, I noticed I was unable to create new MDK projects in any of them, getting several mdk-vsc plugin errors in my terminal. After restarting my Dev Space in the hope of re-initializing the environment and its plugins, I was unable to re-enter back again. My dev space (ID: ws-Idp24) has been in the 'Starting' state for the past 20 minutes.

I first noticed these issues around 20 hours ago and it hasn't been resolved yet.

Unfortunaltely I've the same issue with my existing dev space. Hopefully it's just a temporary issue! I'm not able to join my workspace the entire workday. @SAP: Can you please help me too?

Unfortunately I have to join,

BAS dev space doesn't start anymore after a long wait the status is 'stopped' again

hi, i have the same problem. i am trying to create a workspace but it stops on starting. After a long time it return on stopped. the ID of my dev space is ws-mw28s. Can you help me?

It seems like the Dev Space has started now but it's still unable to properly load the needed plugins. Here's an example of the error we get when trying to create new MDK projects in our Mobile dev space:

Hi Manor,

I am facing the same issue, Business Application Studio - workspace stuck on "Stopping", its keep on loading from 4 hours.

I tried to open BAS in private window and by clearing cache but nothing works out.

Is this on a trial account? If so, SAP does not guarantee any SLA on trial landscapes. Even though SAP will try its best to make it available to all trial users without disruption, there are times where the landscape will become unavailable - either to have some updates applied or even due to excess usage on some services.

If you are on a productive landscape, then I suggest you open a support issue on SAP formal channels so you can get faster fixes to this type of issues.

Hi ivan.mirisola, my personal trial account is actually working fine now, although it was experiencing the same issues yesterday as well, that's why I assumed it was global and not related to these individual accounts per se.

The one that I mentioned in this post is on a productive environment but I am still unable to log in in it.
