Hi all,

Any update on CR plans for the integration into the upcoming VS2022?

Thanks,

CR for VS is both x86 and x64 so it should not matter that the IDE is 64 bit.

CR 2020 is 64 bit only now also.

Downloading the Preview now, I've also been testing Windows 11.

So I'll install it that image, it currently has VS 2019 installed, once it's completed the install I'll have to repair CR for VS SP 30 and hope it finds it.... I know we look for VS to be installed but not sure if it's going to detect it so it can integrate into the VS IDE.

As usual, R&D won't test using Beta's because it's beta, once it goes RTM then they start testing it.

If you find anything let us know...

Don

Works fine for me

Until it goes GA, Released to public, we don't do any testing because things may change...

So at this time there are plans but no time line which patch it will support.

If you run the CR for VS EXE and find any issues let us know and I'll pass it onto R&D.

Thanks

Don

Hi Don,

Thanks for the update.

Due to the fact that VS2022 will be x64, maybe CR also upgrades CR Developer from R2010 x86 to 2020 x64 base?

Has anyone tried to install CR Developer SP30 on VS2022 Preview 2?

Best regards,

Peer
