Time dependent hierarchies are not supported in SAC yet. Here is a request that already got more than 20 votes and status changed to long term consideration. Feel free to vote for it-

Time dependent Hierarchy support with import data

You need S-User ID for voting and checking status.

If you are using live connection then your source system can take care of time dependencies.

For live connection in Embedded BPC - Yes you can use. For other scenarios you can take advantage in live connections. Not in planning setup though.

Currently you cannot create time-dependent hierarchies in SAC. You can only consume them from the supported source systems, e.g. BW.

As per my understanding even the BW Time dependent Hierarchies cannot be consumed in SAC Planning. If you have more information can you share how to consume in SAC Planning.

For Planning, usually it is data acquisition, however, there are exceptions (e.g. BPC Embedded).

I know that it's supported with BW4/HANA but what about S4/HANA?

Hi Lokesh.

With a live connection it can be achieved as Jay Mentioned with an Import it can also be achieved as well by using a ID with BEGDA and ENNDA .

However in an import model scenario this also means fact data will also need to upload using the ID which is concatenation of Begda and Ennda.
