I have material masters set with planning calendars (proposals restricted to certain days of the week) and Lot size set to PK (period lot size according to planning calendar). To my understanding this equates to purchasing proposals matching the requirement quantities and being restricted to the day of the week specified by the planning calendar and according to the other values in the material master (safety time, GRPT etc).
Is there a specific MRP run that needs to be applied against these settings? I find that if there is a change to the planning situation e.g. unplanned stock consumption or change to a requirement date, following the next MRP run when the lot size is set to PK purchasing proposals are not moved to match the future requirements, whereas if the lot size is changed to EX the purchasing proposals are moved to the correct position according to the MM values.
