Hi all,
my client already has one existing client with many company code (the dev is on going). Now due to requirement, they want to have a new separate client (with new company codes) within SAP system. Both the clients needs to be active under the same sap system. Now my questions are-
1. what is the consequence for creating and maintain multiple client under the same sap system? My client is very small company (acquired by big company) now they are planning to use the same sap under different client. my point here is to understand whatever it makes much sense for a small company to have a separate client if the maintance cost high,effort required to maintain, system upgradation etc.
2. Will ABAB team needs to create new client in the system?
3. After new client is created, i can create new company code and assign them to client 2 using OX16. Am i correct?
4. How can i map between the clients? I want to copy all the process settings (like COA,variant etc (copy all the settings from client 1 to client 2). Is it possible?
