not able to implement BAdi - PLM_CATALOG_IF while getting OCI response

Hi All,

we have configured OCI parameters and are making OCI call from S/4 work order to 3rd party procurement tool to get the catalog details.

we are trying to change certain values (work order item category & vendor ) fetched from the procurement tool while getting the response.

we were tying to use BAdi PLM_CATALOG_IF but we are unable to make it active as it seems to be for single implementation only.

please let us know if you have somehow used this BAdi to change the values being fetched from external catalogue.

We are yet to implement OSS note 2897493 & 2946698 in our system. Please let us know if the OSS notes have any kind of impact on the BAdi.

Thank You.

Pratip Mohanty,

Try deactivating the PLM_CATALOG_OCI implementation and creating your own.

Pratip Mohanty,

Go to SE18 and enter the BADI name, then display.

Use the following menu path to find the existing implementation: Implementation->Overview

Then amend the existing implementation as required.

Hi Pete ,

we checked in SE18 but the implementation is a standard one and it cannot be changed.

Whenever you add any text to your post, please do so under "Comment" and not under "Answer", as you were not answering to a query but only providing additional information as required by the members. By adding text under Comments, a mail will be triggered to the person to whom, you respond but mail will not trigger for Answer. Meanwhile, I have converted your above Answers to Comment

Pratip Mohanty,

"We were tying to use BAdi PLM_CATALOG_IF but we are unable to make it active as it seems to be for single implementation only."

You should still be able to activate the BADI even though its for single-use only.. Are you getting any error messages??
