Filter values with S/4HANA Live

Hi,

I'm using a BEx query as a live source which is based on top of a CDS transient provider.

When I create a filter on a date dimension, all generated hierarchy values are shown. "Show unbooked members" is unselected on SAC and "Only posted values for navigation" is selected on Bex.

Any suggestions to see only relevant values in filter LOV?

Another tip; the same problem does not hapen on Analysis for Office.

I've implemented several notes on S/4HANA side but they didn't help so far.

I don't know a solution, just have a proposal to try out...

Could you once restrict the BE query in the background filter to the years 2020 and 2021?

Maybe this might impact the filter values in SAC.

Plus make sure you have the setting in bex to read only booked characteristics and not all from master data.

Sorry for the veeery late reply.

I can't filter based on date since it should by dynamic. If I filter by year, months with no data are still there etc.

Even if I filter values on BEx, similar problems still occur.

For example, when a story filter is used the other filters still have all LOVs listed. Like, you filter a country but cities filter still show all cities of other countries etc.
