Hello Experts,
Our customer has 2- tier landscape DEV (NW7.4,Linux SLES11 & hana 1.0 sp12) and PRD (NW7.4,Linux SLES11 & hana 1.0 sp12).
Now my customer installed two SLES15 based linux servers(Different IP's) for DEV and PRD.
Now, we want to do system copy from PRD to new DEV Server and also simultaneously upgrade to SAP HANA 2.0
My Consciousness:
Step1. Copy SCS instance from existed PRD to new DEV server
Step2. Copy DB instance (Homogeneous/backup/restore) from existed PRD to new DEV server
Step3. Copy PAS instance from existed PRD to new DEV server
My Question:
Is my consciousness(draft) is correct?
If yes, How upgrade will takes place from hana1.0 to hana2.0 in step2 while copying db instance?
Copy during db instance, does installer asks for hana2.0 kernel files(exe, exedb) and later steps installer asks for backup file from hana1.0? IS THIS HOW Hana DB INSTANCE copied and upgraded?
Kindly help
