Delta data extraction

Hi All,

we are working on BW 7.5 and we have upgraded from ECC to S/4 HANA .

Delta data extracted already for the datasources into BW 7.5 from ECC till 30th May. The ECC was migrated to S/4 HANA now and now the connection is from BW 7.5 to S/4 HANA . There were no postings exists in S/4 HANA from 30th May to till today . BW datasources are ODP enabled.

Question is , as the S/4 HANA is not having initializations done for the supported ODP enabled BW datasources , so how to capture the delta data that get posted in the future, do we need to run "initialize without data transfer" to enable delta data load ?

If your ECC has been migrated to S/4 (and not built from scratch), the initialization done on the ECC should still be valid.

If not, yes, you need to initialize without data transfer (if you're sure, you had no posting during the period).
