We are planning to replicate Few SAP ECC tables to SAP HANA Cloud.
We already have SLT and Cloud Connector in our landscape and we are trying to see if we can use existing infrastructure to support this replicaion.
I am bnot able to find much documentation around this. Is this supported approach for replication?
Hi Phani,
You can find this documented in the SAP HANA Cloud, SAP HANA Database Data Access Guide.
SLT is considered to be a technology for what's called the "extended SAP HANA landscape", i.e. on-premises.
For ABAP-based system the SAP ABAP adapter is proposed using either SDI or SDA.

Hi Denys,
Thank you for that Clarification.
Does this mean SAP SLT is not supported to replicate data from On-premise systems to HANA systems hosted on Cloud?
This note says it is supported.
Thanks,
Phani
Hi Phani,
You forgot to click the link ; )
Same statement as in the SAP Note you reference.
Supported, but the SAP HANA Cloud documentation documents how to use and configure SAP HANA Cloud technologies, i.e. SDI/SDA. SLT is a different product, documented in the SAP Landscape Transformation Replication Server area of the portal (click the link), which then states
This option can make sense when you do not want SAP LT Replication Server to automatically create a schema in the target SAP HANA database (for example if you are replicating data to SAP HANA (Database as a Service (DBaaS)).
