Bubble styles and text font

How is it possible to define bubble styles and bubble text font for all project macros in one step?

(1) Set them as defaults before you start, in Tools > Settings > Authoring Settings > Macro Initialization > * Demo Bubble | Practice Bubble.

(2) If you have already recorded the simulations (before you set your standards) and now want to change them all at the same time, in the Workarea view in Producer, select the Group containing the simulations, then select menu option Tools > Replace Bubble Styles.

Even though I have clicked on Adaptable Resources - Authoring settings-Start editing in Manager I cannot change anything from Tools - Settings in Producer. I am a Master autor using sap en test and demo on cloud.

Start Editing for the (Authoring Settings) resource in Producer. Then change it in Producer. Then Finish Editing in Producer. Do not try to change these things in Manager.

I am not able to edit that. Everything is gray, I cannot change any setting in Producer - Tools - Settings. I do not know why.

And the font has to be changed for each bubble for each macro? Isnt there a way to change font for all bubbles in all macros in a project?

You are clicking the Start Editing button, and not just double-clicking to open it, right? Resources are special and aren't automatically checked out for editing when you open them.

If you can't Start Editing (what message does it give you?) then you don't have permission to change resources.

I am not able to select and not even open any dropdown menu, It does not give any message. Maybe its a test and demo limit.

Bubbles take their font from the 'base' Text Style. If you change that in your Text Styles resource, that will affect all Bubbles in all Simulations (again, because it is applied a display time via CSS).

However, if you have specifically changed the font for a Bubble within the simulation by applying direct formatting in the Text Editor, then that overrides default Text Style, and any changes to the Text Styles resource won't affect that. In that case you will need to change them all back individually.

Some golden rules:

1. Get all your styles nailed down before you start development
2. Use character styles instead of direct formatting for text
