CFM Integration model-Checkbox for plant disappears upon entering logical system

Hi experts,

I am trying to create integration model for new system in S4 Hana 1909. There are no prior integration models in this client. Also, location, material, PDS, etc. are already CIFed and visible in PPDS.

Under transaction CFM1, I can initially see all fields including plant, MRP Area, ATP check, etc. However, as soon as I enter logical system, these fields disappear. As a result, I am not able to generate the correct IM.

Request your advice.

Hi Amit,

In addition to what R.Brahmankar has said, I would suggest you to go through the OSS notes 2434851 - How to setup Advanced Planning (PPDS) in S/4 HANA (CIF Basic Setup) and 2825650 - Restrictions and Implementation Recommendations for Production Planning and Detailed Sched... (relevant) for your release.

This shall help .

Hello,

This is due to simplification of core interface CIF, you do not need to transfer all the master data through CIF in S4.

Plant/Location -

Create/Change Locations for PP/DS like Plant, MRP Area , Shipping Point are created by the report /SAPAPO/CREATE_LOCATION and can be changed by the report /SAPAPO/UPD_LOC_SP_PL.

Material master / Product Master -

Activate PP/DS Materials by selecting the “Advanced Planning” checkbox in the "Advanced Planning" tab of the material master

Work center / Resource Master -

Setting the flag “Advanced Planning” of the work center triggers the initial and change transfer to PP/DS. For each capacity assigned to the work center, a resource is created in PP/DS.

Production version / PDS -

The initial transfer and update of the PDS is triggered by transaction CURTOADV_CREATE.

P.S - Transaction CFM1 with a S/4HANA logical system: Only some objects are displayed which need to be CIFed through CFM1/2.

Best Regards,

R.BRahmankar
