Hi,
we have the requirement that we directly want to send emails that include confirmation-link to a targetgroup without any forms.
Normally confirmation links can only be included in confirmation-emails. And confirmation-emails are triggered within Double-Opt-In process via interaction type MKT_PERM_OPTIN_PRE. Double-Opt-In usually requires a form.
As we don't want to use a form we need to send or at least trigger this type of emails within a campaign.
We tried to create Interaction MKT_PERM_OPTIN_PRE via campaign-action. But when executing the campaign raises following error:
We already set the correct communication within the campaign action:
Does anybody has an idea how to pass the communication medium or how to trigger the confirmation-email with a campaign?
Regards
Danny
I am afraid thats not possible out of the box.
Workaround could be:
# Send email to customer
# Customer clicks CTA button in email
# Click Interaction is stored in SAP MC
# Check if button was clickt (using cpi)
# Import opt-in (using cpi)
