Extract Availability Calendar & Resource Management Set up

Hi SAP Community,

My business is currently using SAP Business By Design, and we need some help with the Resourcing Search function, which is part of the Project Management work centre.

• Once I select the teams I want to resource, and commit them to a project from the ‘Availability Calendar'

a. is there a way that I can extract and export the availability calendar into an excel document, or any other format?

b. is there currently a standard SAP report that I can run from SAP that easily shows all the employees and what they have been assigned to for the month? In a clean format that can be easily read?

• Currently our business has implemented the option to search based on commitment Qty of employee from projects team, instead of planned work specified at the task level. Can someone please help explain what the difference between the 2 options are, as I’m finding it hard to find this info in the SAP documents library. (See screenshot attached)
