Hello,

Only thing I could decide is to aspire for functional consultant based career in SAP.

But, I don't know where to start.

Let Me put some of my questions as below:-

1. What are the various streams in SAP to become functional consultant ?

2. Is doing self study and directly appearing for certification advisable OR

3. Need to do training from SAP authorised institute.

4. Any forums available which can help to provide the job requirement.

Warm Regards!

Hello siddhigaiki!

SAP has a multitude of products, such as SAP S/4 HANA, SAP Business One & ByDesign, SAP Concur, and others... that it's impossible for you to know everything!

And even if you choose one of SAP products, you need to check out the possibilities for specializations within each product offered!
For example, in the case of SAP S/4 HANA, you will specialize in specific modules of SAP S/4 HANA (FI, CO, MM, etc..).

In my case, I work with SAP Business One, but I'm specializing in SAP IT Infrastructure Management and SAP HANA

So the first of all, is to know which area of knowledge and job role you fit best.

Take a look on SAP Careers and Explore opportunities at SAP.

The SAP have the free Open SAP Courses, where you can start your journey.

Specifically SAP S/4 HANA:

Start with the intro:
https://open.sap.com/courses/s4hintro1

and review the rest:

It gives you taste/head start on what you want to focus on!

Good lucky!
