Related to MDG HUB Deployment architecture on S4HANA

Dear All,

I am having a query on MDG architecture HUB option.

In case of ECC HUB model we have MDG-ECC and ECC Operation system.

Similarly, in case S4-HANA HUB model do we have MDG-ECC and then separate operational S4 HANA system OR

we absolutely do not have ECC system and that means we have only MDG-S4HANA and Operational S4 HANA system?

Considering the architecture and deployment options, there is no change whether MDG is installed on ECC or S4HANA. The underlying database differences between ECC and S4HANA will exist and all MDG features may not be leveraged completely in ECC compared to S4HANA. In Such landscape, where MDG is hub deployed on ECC, SAP HANA sidecar approach can be used
