Asset Value - Reduce

Dear Experts,

Good Day!!

we have one asset which acquired this year for 189,000 INR. But Vendor refunded 89,000 in the same year. Now my management wants to reduce the asset value to 100,000. Vendor is showing credit of 89,000. please need your valuable advise to resolve the issue.
