SAC live connection to universe - unable to retrieve data from the data source

We created a model in SAC based on a LIVE data connection to a SAP universe. When we use this model in a analytical application we get the following error message:

When we use the same universe in a WebI report and create a model in SAC based on a LIVE data connection to a WebI document we get the following result:

Why is the model based on the universe not working?
