Hi Experts,
We are implementing MDG 1909 on S/4 HANA cloud single tenant edition. I have few Qs as follows:
1) When I go to 'Finacial Accounting --> Create G/L Account Centrally' , in Search Method drop-down, I am getting only one Search Method option called 'Database Search', whereas we want to implement 'HANA Search' for our master data. I thought that, in S/4 HANA system, 'HANA Search' is a default search method and should have come automatically in the Search Method drop-down menu. I am having the same experience for 'Finacial Controlling --> Cost Center' as well. So, do I have to configure HANA Search separately in this FICO master data?
2) Whereas HANA Search is coming in the search method dropdown menu for 'Material Governance', 'Customer Governance' etc..? Why it is being different here and not coming for FICO master data as mentioned above?
3) I have never implemented 'Database Search'. What does this 'Database Seach' method mean? How does it work? Is 'Database Search' not the Search method as 'HANA Search' when we have HANA DB as an underlying database?
4) My client is asking to include "BP Grouping" and "BP Role" in our duplicate check parameter? I have not included them in any of my earlier project implementation in duplicate check config. Can I add them in Duplicate Check? Technically, I can see that the respective Entity Types(BP_HEADER and BP_ROLE) can be added under 'Relevant Fields' in duplicate check config, but just would like to know if it will really work.
Would be a kind help if you could help.
