Hi,

I am trying to create a calculation view in my CAP project. When I try to add a data source, the following error comes up:

Same happens even if I am logged in:

I also noticed that on the bottom left for me it does not say "Targeting ...".

Thanks for the help,

Best Regards, Zsolt

Managed to solve it by doing the steps mentioned here (updated April 8, 2022 with hana-cli):

https://developers.sap.com/tutorials/hana-cloud-cap-create-project.html

Also make sure to bind your db module in BAS under "SAP Hana Projects"screenshot-2022-04-25-140854.jpg

Hi Elizabeth,

I do get the same issue when I try to create a calculation view for my sample project central-launchpad-cap in the branch add-authentication. Is there any troubleshooting guide?

Best Regards
Gregor

Hi Zsolt,

did you make the required adjustments to your CAP project to enable it for HANA development?

In your screen shot I can see the path "test/gen/db". If you did all the adjustments the path should be "test/db". Please check if you have changed the path in your mta.yaml file from "gen/db" to "db".

I did the adjustments when I wrote my answer, the gen folder is now inside /db/src.screenshot-2022-04-14-185628.jpg

Please open a support ticket on HAN-BAS-EXL. We'll have to take a closer look.

Hi Zsolt,

In some cases, similar error happens because the project is not properly built.

Can you please build the respective db module successfully and check the scenario once.

Thanks,

Rajesh

I followed the guide mentioned by Jonathan. The build is successful but same error is shown.
