With respect to subject and I am new user of the SAP, I want to know how "Selection using search help" works? please guide me

Hi,

There is nothing complicated about it. This functionality would select the accounts based on pre-defined fields which are attributes of G/L account, e.g its text, alternative number, etc. Normally, this functionality should be used frequently, as the user is supposed to know which accounts he is interested to display in the report and, thus, can fill this parameter directly in G/L selection. This is more for auditors who have no clue about account numbers and will look for them by description or some other attribute.
